Help
Are my photos or customer names uploaded?
No. Photos, names and order lists are processed by JavaScript in your browser, and proofs are created on your device. The server counts free downloads, checkout starts and verified purchases without names or files.
What if the name doesn't fit?
NameProof never shrinks text behind your back. When text is wider or taller than the engraving area, the area turns red and you'll see by how much. Reduce the size, enlarge the area or shorten the text. In a batch, rows that overflow are flagged in the table and in the production CSV.
Can I engrave from the PNG?
No. The proof is a flat picture for customer approval. Engrave from your own design file with your production font and settings.
Which fonts are available?
NameProof uses fonts already installed on your device, so the exact look can vary slightly between computers. Pick the closest style to your production font.
How should I format a batch list?
Use a header row such as Name,Order ID or copy the two columns from your spreadsheet. Quoted CSV values like "O'Brien, Siobhán" are supported. Rows with missing names, names over 80 characters or order IDs over 64 characters are skipped. Missing or duplicate order IDs are flagged when you supply order IDs. File names stay unique.
